Wilderness Lake in Willington, Connecticut  is a RV Park, Campground, and Recreation Area located minutes from Interstate 84 in Northeastern Connecticut near the Massachusetts line, with easy on & off access to the highway (Exit 70).

Wilderness Lake is set serenely on over 100 acres of pristine countryside with a fresh-water lake for swimming, boating, and fishing; mini-golf, trails for hiking and biking, horse-shoe pits, volley ball court, a tribal village, game rooms, new playground, a lodge with home-theater entertainment, and much more!

Ryan F. Aitchison, 30, of Willington, CT, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 11, 2017. He was born in Manchester, CT, on August 17, 1986. Ryan was a graduate of Coventry High School, and was currently employed as an estimator for Berlin Steel. His adventurous spirit loved being outdoors, hiking, fishing, and exploring. Ryan’s workshop was a reflection of his enormous talent and creativity, where his imagination came to life. His infectious light and laughter will be greatly missed, and will live on within each person he touched. Ryan is survived by his mother, Joan Crossen and her husband Raymond of Willington, CT; father, Daniel Aitchison of Canton Center, CT; four siblings, Keisha Hoar and her husband Matthew, Cole Aitchison, McKenze Crossen, and Makenzie Aitchison; paternal grandmother, Shirley Aitchison; several aunts, uncles, and cousins, nieces; and many special friends. His family is forever grateful for the many, many special people who loved him and became our family, especially, Jasmine Prince and Rebecca Hannon. His funeral will be held on Monday, January 16, 2017, with a procession forming by 10 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 A.M. at St. Edward Church, 55 High St., Stafford Springs, CT.
